Zeds Dead Announces Deadrocks X for Tenth Anniversary at Iconic Denver Venue
Deadrocks X, the 10th edition of Zeds Dead’s annual Red Rocks and Fourth of July takeover run in Colorado has been announced.
Zeds Dead the iconic and timeless dubstep duo made up of Hooks and DC have announced the dates for their annual takeover held at Red Rocks and Denver. The event, charmingly named DeadRocks X is the 10th edition of the event that includes a Red Rocks show and the Backyard Jamboree, both being a staple in the Denver EDM scene.
DeadRocks at Red Rocks has become a pilgrimage site for fans of Zeds Dead, due to their dedicated fan base over nearly 15 years and considering that Denver is the bass capital of the USA. DeadRocks X will be held on July 2nd and 3rd, with the Backyard Jamboree being held on the 4th of July.
Zeds Dead remains a highlight of Denver culture, a city they frequent with consistently high turnout for their shows. More recently they played Decadence Festival, also held in Denver where they went B2B with fellow legend, Skrillex. Decadence also featured a wild after-party with Zeds Dead, Skrillex, and Justin Jay. In February they take to the mountains of Colorado for a show in Aspen and in April they host the first edition of First Contact at the Hampton Coliseum.
Zeds Dead is known for curating beautiful lineups that feature big names as well as up-and-coming names in the bass music scene. Having this curation over their events creates an intimate feeling environment at Zeds Dead takeover, Dead Rocks X is sure to be dynamic with lineup curation and three sets from the duo over the 3-day run.
Following the two-night run at the legendary outdoor music venue, Zeds Dead will take their talents to Denver where they will host their Backyard Jamboree. In true Fourth of July fun expect games, family-friendly events (for the parents and their bass-head babies), and most importantly music across multiple stages. Backyard Jamboree is a label-hosted event from Zeds Dead’s’ label Deadbeats.
