Marshmello Welcomes Fans On Stage for Gender Reveal at Echostage

At Echostage last weekend, two fans had invited Marshmello to help reveal their baby’s gender.

Marshmello filled Washington D.C. with electronic music and added a touch of wholesomeness when he had agreed to participate in a gender reveal. In the video, the DJ has explained that the couple was holding a phone up that read “gender reveal.” After he had agreed to announce the gender of their baby, the fans were invited on stage.

The future dad, wearing a Marshmello mask, has been shown shaking the artist’s hand as the couple waits in anticipation. The artist had excitedly exclaimed, “You’re having a baby girl!” as the lights in the venue switched to magenta. The pair and Marshmello have been shown embracing as the crowd cheers for the soon-to-be parents.

Since debuting as Marshmello in 2015, the masked DJ has developed a large following. Now, he is being invited to join in on important moments in his fans’ lives. This was his first time being asked for help with a gender reveal

The parents shared their appreciation under posts of the gender reveal, calling it an amazing experience. Marshmello shared the sentiment, expressing how fun it was to be included. On top of giving the couple well wishes, fans joked that the baby should be named after the artist or the venue.
