Watch Anyma Tease Genesys Album Remixes at Afterlife Chile
Melodic techno star Anyma has debuted stunning new visuals alongside brand-new remixes from his Genesys album.
In 2023, Matteo Milleri’s Anyma project absolutely wowed the dance music community with his cutting-edge visuals and hypnotizing melodic techno. After releasing his long-awaited album, ‘Genesys’, in August, Anyma unquestionably had fans in a chokehold with singles like “Consciousness” and “Eternity”. Naturally, the techno visionary didn’t wait long before welcoming 2024 by teasing some soul-gripping remixes of his ‘Genesys’ hits.
Anyma rang in the new year in Santiago de Chile, where he debuted one of his ‘Genesys’ remixes – namely Massano’s mix of “Eternity”. The bone-chilling graphics that accompanied the tune featured the iconic Afterlife robot, Eve. However, contrary to her usual ethereal state, this new visual eerily shows Eve malfunctioning with her armor battered and clawed at.
The Italian-bred artist continues to push the boundaries of music and art with the complex AI animations that accompany his music. Already ridden itself with emotion, Anyma’s rich melodic sounds find further intensity in the subtle storylines depicted by the post-human scenes. Apart from his solo performances as Anyma, Matteo Milleri also comprises one-half of the duo Tale of Us.
Anyma boasts collaborations with tons of well-acclaimed artists in the futuristic and melodic techno space. From Cassian to Camelphat and Chris Avantgarde, the sound production level dedicated to tracks associated with Anyma and the larger Afterlife brand speaks wonders. Although Anyma usually takes a while to release full-album exposés of these acclaimed singles, the scene will surely be in for a treat when that day comes.
From AI vocals to larger-than-life performative feats, fans can expect no slowing down in Anyma’s creative roll in the next coming months. While tour dates for 2024 are still up in the air, any variation of an Anyma set is certainly a must-see for those not yet familiar. For more information on Anyma, click here.
