Solshine Reverie Announces 2024 Lineup with John Summit, deadmau5, and More
The creators of the renowned Summer Camp music festival has lauched a brand new experience with Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie.
Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie will continue the tradition of community and music as reflected in other Summer Camp festival experiences but with additional elements expanding on their legacy in the festival space. Festival events will start on May 23 and continue throughout Memorial Day weekend. The festival lineup includes a wide range of musical acts including John Summit, Deadmau5, Moe, Slander, and more.
Other acts include electronic funk duo Big Gigantic. Big Gigantic have previously performed at past Summer Camp festivals but this will be their first time on the Solshine lineup. Their psychedelic music sets combine elements of groovy funk music with the intensity of a EDM banger. Other genre-blending acts will also be at the festival for the first time, including Claude Vonstroke as his bass alias Barclay Crenshaw.
The reverie spans the beginning day of Summer Camp events in the lineup and new collaborations including Kill Safari. Kill Safari is a collaboration betwen EDM DJ Kill the Noise and dubstep artist Bro Safari. The lineup also includes bass artist Eprom, rapper and producer DJ Wreckno, and dubstep artist Austeria.
The festival will be located at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. The park grounds will be decorated with art to further immerse festival goers in the Solshine experience. The Illumination Woods and SOULPATCH are art installations for attendees to get to know more about sustainability practices, a staple of Summer Camp festivals for over 20 years.
Festival goers will also have the opportunity to camp on the grounds. Throughout the weekend, a variety of vendors and workshops will also be accessible to all ticket holders. The activities will all incorporate elements of the “home away from home” mantra that Summer Camp curates at all of their events to create a sense of community. In its celebration of music and the arts. the festival hopes to also uplift local businesses in the Chillicothe area.
Solshine is offering VIP upgrades and RV options in addition to regular tickets. All ticket holders will have the option to camp on festival grounds. Tickets to the pre-party on May 23rd and the rest of the festival can be purchased here.
