Mathame Announces 2024 North American Tour Following Release of ‘Hungover’ with John Summit
After the release of their highly-anticipated single “Hungover” with John Summit, Mathame has announced they will embark on a North American Tour.
Melodic techno duo Mathame has partnered with the incomparable John Summit for their new single “Hungover”. In less than a week since its release, Mathame has announced that they will be stepping out on an eight-date North American tour.
After months of teasing fans with their electrifying id, Mathame has finally released their highly-anticipated single, “Hungover”. The song features vocals from Camden Cox, who has also worked with deadmau5 and Kaskade, and co-production from John Summit. “Hungover” is a euphoric melodic-techno track accompanied by AI-created visuals.
Mathame has been teasing “Hungover” since the fall as they have played it in their live sets numerous times. Less than a month before its release, Mathame announced they would be going on a four-date tour around Asia during December. Having built up the anticipation around the track, it only makes sense for the duo to announce their North American tour while the single is still fresh.
Working with tech-house icon John Summit is reason enough to gain traction on their new song. The U.S.-based DJ and producer has built quite the name for himself in the States and has quite the habit of achieving Beatport #1’s when his name is attached to these projects. With John Summit being a household name in electronic music, Mathame’s North American tour announcement came at a perfect time.
Mathame will be stopping in eight cities from late January to mid-February. The duo will start on January 27 in Miami, Florida before heading to Brooklyn, Montreal, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Austin. Mathame will conclude the tour on February 18 in Vancouver, Canada.
“Hungover” truly graces audiences with euphoria due to its whimsical vocals and pulsating soundscapes. After Mathame teased the song during their live sets these past couple of months, the release and North American tour announcement came as the perfect gift for dance music lovers right before Christmas.
