Adriatique Launches New Imprint ‘X Recordings’ and Release Debut Label Single
Swiss techno duo Adriatique has launched X Recordings, a record label combining their live event skills with their mesmerizing sound.
Adriatique has debuted their music label X Recordings along with the release of their new song “The Future Is Unknown.” The track has a futuristic quality in its understated melodies and thumping basslines. It builds from a slow and mysterious structure before fading out into euphoric production sequences.
Adriatique combines the sounds of house and international techno music to create an eclectic mix for fans. Their first record label Siamese was the catalyst for the vision that would be X Recordings. Adriatique has collaborated with other big names in the scene including Swedish House Mafia and WhoMadeWho throughout their time as a group.
Their melodic techno beats create an atmosphere of meditation for their fans as they listen. The two have performed together around the world including Cityfox Experience events in New York City and Ibiza. Their last event under X Recordings also featured Argy, Marino Canal, and Ardour.
Adriatique first premiered X Recordings in December of 2022 in Zurich before taking the show experience around the world to the Brooklyn Mirage, Labyrinth in London, and Gashouder in Amsterdam. The duo plans to continue to expand the show to Dubai and Tulum next year. The show has immersive and avant-garde elements that will be taken to new heights and new venues.
Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer look forward to X being at the intersection of the future while exploring the music of today. Their decade-long collaboration will be explored on the stage with other potential musical guests in different cities as well. The experience will be incorporate elevated visual and sonic elements that have yet to be explored on stage with the two.
