BIIA Showcases Techno Talent in Debut EP ‘Letters from Hell’
Portuguese techno titan BIIA announces debut EP on Taapion and a flurry of winter dates to close out a spectacular 2023.
On December 1, Portuguese music talent, BIIA, officially released her 4-track EP ‘Letters From Hell’. BIIA, a notable electronic music talent from Portugal, is gaining recognition in the techno scene through her distinctive fusion of dynamic beats, distinct sounds, and surreal elements. To supplement the digital EP, BIIA has also released a limited edition edition 12″ vinyl for all the crate diggers out there which is now available via Bandcamp.
As previously mentioned, ‘Letters From Hell’ is a combination of 4 tracks. The EP kicks off with “Poisoned Youth” followed by “Eros N Agape”, “Prisoner Mind”, and “Those Were The Days”. Each track is just as hard-hitting as the last with with a combination of experimental chops, kicks, and vocal elements that make you want to rave the night away.
The ‘Letter From Hell’ EP marks BIIA’s first multi-track project following a series of single releases. Before the EP release, BIIA’s most recent production was her record, “Fantastic Excursion,” which came out just last month.
In addition to her music releases, she has a series of winter performances scheduled across Europe. BIIA’s music seamlessly combines forceful impact with emotional depth, showcasing her fearlessness in pushing artistic boundaries. Her productions are characterized by unexpected shifts and innovations, reflecting her constant exploration of fresh avenues for self-expression.
Finally, as we begin to close out 2023, BIIA has several exciting upcoming tour dates. In December, she’ll be touring around Europe making club appearances in Amsterdam, Portugal, Spain, and finishing off in Eindhoven. As for 2024, she already has dates locked in for Berlin, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. As the rising Portuguese talent stays busy on the road, her music speaks for itself as a promising new face to the dance music scene.
