Best New HOLO Visuals from Eric Prydz in 2023
Inside Eric Prydz’s Best New jaw-dropping HOLO visuals of 2023.
Throughout the year, Eric Prydz has showcased some pretty astonishing new HOLO visuals during his sets at iconic events like Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Coachella, Tomorrowland, and many others. And now, the recent three-day run of his cinematic live music production in New York City has proven that his otherwordly HOLO visuals only get better year after year.
Following all the hype surrounding his latest NYC HOLO shows, Prydz fans cannot stop talking about all the new visuals that have been added to the mind-boggling production this year. Those who have attended know that an Eric Prydz HOLO show isn’t solely about the music. The entire production is a form of light and sound imagery that transcends the senses into alternate realms. Between the perplexing magnitude of the 3D hologram visuals and Prydz’s sensational mixing skills, the entire experience is difficult to even put into words.
With that, here is Exron Music’s roundup of the best new Eric Prydz HOLO visuals of 2023:
The Green Robot Man With Lasers
The visual of the green robot man has been a fan favorite all year long. The visual’s pulsating green lasers go hand in hand with the overall Prydz brand and the futuristic design of what appears to be a robot-man hybrid figure ties seamlessly into the ultramodern theme of HOLO and Prydz’s revolutionary music.
A Remote Taking Control of the Crowd
Fans have been raving about this new HOLO visual of a masked, robot-like figure controlling the entire crowd with a remote. Instead of turning on an electronic device like a TV, the red light sitting on top of the remote transcends into a singular three-dimensional red laser that bursts out into the crowd and provides the illusion that it’s taking full control of everyone in attendance.
The Caged Interstellar Man
Again going hand in hand with the trailblazing HOLO theme, this visual of an interstellar astronaut man shooting out electricity from his hands from within a cage is absolutely mind-blowing. The appearance of electricity being shot out into the crowd is surreal to the senses and unlike anything ever witnessed before.
A Phone Video Recording of the Crowd
There’s a running “not a phone in sight, just vibes” joke in the dance music scene about everybody always wanting to record every single moment of a set. Well, the joke is on HOLO attendees this time because this insane visual features a robotic hand holding a smartphone that records the crowd and reflects the visual of what they look like back to them so they can get a taste of their own medicine.
The Yellow Quarantine Suit Man
The inspiration behind this one probably had something to do with the pandemic and its quarantine fiasco, but this visual of a man in a yellow quarantine suit has also been a tremendous hit at recent HOLO shows. It can also be interpreted as symbolizing the concept of a dystopian futuristic world, which is also very on-brand with Prydz as an artist.
