Kaskade Releases Second Installment of Beloved Christmas Album for Holidays 2023
The holiday season has gotten a lot more electric since Kaskade has released his second Christmas album.
Six years since the first edition officially dropped, Kaskade has released the second installment of his Christmas series, ‘Kaskade Christmas Volume 2’. Over the 12-track album, the Grammy-winning DJ has reimagined different beloved holiday hits with his unique twist on the songs.
Alongside the album, Kaskade has announced a special holiday show at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. What started as a one-night performance turned into a three-day event due to the overwhelming demand to see the DJ perform. While the second-day show is sold out, limited tickets for the other two shows can be purchased here.
The hybrid electronic approach Kaskade takes on different holiday classics like “White Christmas” and “O Christmas Tree” is why the DJ has become so famous in the first place. His ability to keep the original aspects of the songs while integrating electronic house beats has made the new album nothing short of a masterpiece.
The vocal additions are different on each track, with artists from different genres featured. Pop artist Mia Grace, rock band The Moth & The Flame, and alternative singer Cayson Renshaw are just a few vocalists who have helped transform these carols into dance anthems.
Aside from the new album and holiday shows, Kaskade will also headline a New Year’s Eve party at Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas. The event will be an electrifying way to ring in the New Year as the DJ will put on one of his legendary shows.
The holiday album is the artist’s third project release this year, giving fans plenty of new music to party to. With his most recent project, ‘REDUX 006’, not even being a month old, the DJ has been in overdrive producing different content artistically. If you will be attending the shows at the Orpheum Theatre, a vinyl-variant will be available for purchase in a first-come first-serve situation. Until then, the album is now available for streaming on all platforms.
