Travis Scott Stops Security From Throwing Fan Out of Concert Mid-Song in Dallas
Travis Scott has stopped in the middle of performing to tell security not to kick a girl out of the concert and to let her stay.
The event occurred at the Travis Scott in Dallas, Texas, at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, October 18. A female fan was seen in a video posted to Instagram dancing near a platform and seemed to slip, which immediately set the security guards off and caused them to grab her and start to pull her away. Travis Scott saw the interaction and was not having it.
Travis Scott was singing his track “I Know” on stage when security grabbed the girl, then stopped and said: “Hold on. One thing you not gonna do, you not gonna kick a fan out. You not gonna do that, brother. You back up. She’s just enjoying herself. You back the f**k up. Let her just have a good time.”
He ended it with respect to not handling a woman aggressively and said: “That’s a female. You don’t grab a female like that, okay?” The security guards were seen in the video grabbing the girl somewhat aggressively. After Travis Scott made a scene, security let the girl go, and she returned to dancing and even stood on the platform momentarily to give respect to Travis.
Following the whole incident, a nearby girl in the video can be heard saying: “We love you Travis” and Travis Scott responded and said: “I love you too, baby.” The girl is then seen in the video freaking out with joy.
Everyone in the crowd was screaming “yeah!” and recording. Travis Scott inevitably turned a negative situation into a positive one and fans were happy to see it. Even another security guard showed up and shook hands with the almost kicked-out female fan.
Travis Scott has a stacked tour ahead of him and will be coming to tons of U.S. cities throughout the end of 2023. He even played an epic show with tech-house artist Black Coffee in Ibiza in August.
