Tomorrowland Brazil Cancels Day Two Installment
As Tomorrowland Brazil cancels day two of the festival, refund information will be issued soon.
The completely sold-out music festival Tomorrowland Brazil cancels its day two festivities due to the extreme rain conditions it endured last night. The festival areas, parking lots, and access roads have been damaged and are currently not safe to travel through.
Even though the weather is good and dry today, the festival needs time to ensure that they, “have the necessary conditions to receive our visitors safely, as this is our highest priority.” On its social media announcement, the festival promises it will be open again on October 14th so that attendees can continue their Tomorrowland experience.
For attendees who had the DreamVille passes, the festival is welcoming them to stay and is opening The Gathering Stage with an “alternative program today”. For people who are not able to attend the festival today, Tomorrowland Brasil promises that refund information will soon be released.
Before the weather took a turn, the festival had opened its doors yesterday and began the show off with a bang. The lineup from night one saw the likes of Yves V, Martin Garrix, Netsky, Franky Wah, Nina Kraviz, and many more across the five stages.
Even with the doors being closed today, many people were understanding in the comments of the cancelation post. Ensuring the safety of thousands of people and promising a quick turnaround to re-open tomorrow conveys that the festival cares about its attendees. Also, providing refunds to individuals who couldn’t attend today is the responsible thing to do.
If you’re sad about not being able to attend today, have a mini-rave with your friends no matter where you are. Let the party continue with a curated Tomorrowland Brasil 2023 playlist while you count down the minutes until doors re-open for the last day.
