How to Help Families and Victims of Israel’s Supernova Festival Massacre

260 killed and many taken captive at Israeli Music Festival Supernova.

Israeli trance music festival Supernova took place at the end of the Jewish holiday, Sukkot. What was supposed to be a closing celebration of the week-long holiday turned deadly as Hamas fighters descended upon the festival, killing and kidnapping attendees.

On the morning of Saturday, October 7th, gunfire and rocket sirens became confused with the beats of the Supernova music festival. The festival was three miles from the Gaza border, and as rockets from Gaza rained down, Hamas fighters entered the festival by ground, opening gunfire on the 3,500 attendees. The attack claimed 260 lives, and Hamas fighters were seen kidnapping festival-goers.

As the massacre at Supernova has become another act of violence in the Israel-Palestine conflict, many families are still without answers on the whereabouts of their loved ones. To help those affected by the Israel-Hamas war, below is a list of credited humanitarian aid organizations accepting donations.
