Goldrush Festival 2023 Prepares for Beautiful Sonoran Skies

Forecasts are looking dreamier than ever as Goldrush Festival 2023 gears up for its newest theme, “Sonoran Skies.”

Arizona welcomes Goldrush Music Festival back for its 2023 edition at the Phoenix Raceway on October 8th and 9th. This two-day festival takes music fans on a mystifying journey through electronic music in the Wild West. Particularly, this year’s theme will be Sonoran Skies, which you will see emphasized in each stage breakdown.

The mainstage, a.k.a Paradise Prairie, will host performances from several of the industry’s most popular names. Here, you can count on Alison Wonderland, Tiësto, Zeds Dead, Zhu, and more to blow your mind. Moreover, Coyote Cove will be the official home for an array of house and techno artists. To further add to the festival’s production experience, this stage will have costumed performers moving effortlessly to the pulsating bass.

If you felt any FOMO from Lost Lands, fret not – as the next stage will undoubtedly be a haven for bass heads far and wide. Beatbox presents Moonrise Mountain, which will unsurprisingly be filled with all your wubby heavy hitters. The only thing better than dubstep Disneyland, it seems, will be dubstep in the Desert. Surely, this stage will leave your neck sore by the end of the weekend.

Here you’ll be able to catch ATLiens if you haven’t yet seen them on their Space Cathedral Tour that’s been ripping through the U.S. The silent masked duo will be sure to leave you in a trance with their trap and bass-heavy beats. They’re known to not speak much, and I’m sure you’ll also be speechless by the end of their set.

You can also catch Kai Wachi, at Moonrise Mountain, and he doesn’t just call his fans the heavyweight club because he lifts a lot. Make no mistake, he’ll bring you to your knees with his invigorating bass hits. Having just debuted his new collab with Excision two days ago at Lost Lands, this is a set you definitely won’t want to miss.

Among other attractions to expect at Goldrush is the Cowboy Corral Silent Disco. This silent disco will have 3-channels showcasing 50 artists local to the area. If you’re looking for upcoming talent or just looking for new music, definitely stop by to see what Arizona’s dance music scene has to offer. Ultimately, Goldrush is shaping up to be something out of a movie – don’t forget to grab front-row seats before it’s too late! For more information on Goldrush 2023, click here.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 10+ years now. I have always had a knack for writing and the power of words, which I continued cultivating through a Philosophy degree in college. Now a law school graduate, I eventually hope to merge my passions by working in music law. I am an avid traveler and am certainly not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My next bucket list festivals to attend are Tomorrowland in Belgium and Sonus in Croatia. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists include Franky Wah, Mochakk, Kevin de Vries, and Eli Brown.
