Charlotte de Witte Shares Gratitude for Production Team in Heartfelt Post
As summer comes to a close, Charlotte de Witte shares some love for her entire production team.
Touring has a lot more that goes into it than some people might think–it’s a lot more difficult than the artist getting on stage and performing for a crowd. In a heartfelt post on social media, Charlotte de Witte shares her gratitude for the production team that helped bring her summer shows to life.
With touring, you have people who have to reserve the venues, help transfer set pieces, build and strike the sets, sound and light crew, drivers that transport set pieces, and so many more elements that go on behind the scenes. Seeing an artist like Charlotte give a big shoutout to these people is refreshing because you can tell that she actually cares about the amount of help these people have given her on this journey.
Above is a photo from the Instagram post where she thanks them for, “joining me this summer on the shows in Overdrive” and “for all the love and effort you put in and for going the extra mile.” She continues by saying on tour, “[she] would not have been able to do this without you.”
Touring can be a very long and draining process, even though the artist is getting to do what they’re passionate about. Consistent traveling around the world and being away from your home can cause stress for anybody, but having a good team by your side is something that can help ease this stress.
While Charlotte just ended her European festival tour in Belfast last week, she still has many shows left in the Americas and other international dates. If you’d like to catch her live before the year is over, follow this link to see if she is performing in a town near you.
Earlier this year the DJ released a four-track EP titled ‘Overdrive’ that she has been able to perform throughout the year on tour. It has that classic Charlotte sound of that techno, fast-paced energy you’d expect from her. If you’d like to check it out, it’s available on all streaming platforms now.
