Fyre Festival II Sells Out Without Lineup or Location Announcement
The first 100 pre-sale tickets for Fyre Festival II have officially sold out.
We never thought the day would come, but Fyre Festival II has sold out. Earlier this year, Billy McFarland hinted that he aspired to produce a second edition of the disastrous festival, and it looks like that idea is finally in the works. Or so we hope.
According to Billy, Fyre Festival is “coming back to the Caribbean” sometime towards the end of 2024. No specific venue location, official dates, or festival lineup have even been announced, yet the first 100 pre-sale tickets are somehow already gone. Did anyone learn anything following the first festival?
Billy McFarland is not only trying to convince his elite target audience that things will be different this time so that they purchase the “highest priced GA pre-sales in the industry.” He’s also trying to convince himself that this is even a good idea worth investing in. Clearly, he’s just trying to redeem himself in the eye of the public after the tremendous hit he took following the events of the first Fyre Festival.
Fyre Festival II being sold out already just doesn’t sit right with us. Everything about it appears so suspicious. For starters, Fyre Festival no longer has an active social media presence and its Instagram account is private. All news surrounding Fyre Festival II has been announced through Billy’s social media platforms.
On top of that, the “details” surrounding Fyre Festival II seem way too ambiguous to be true. The Posh ticket link on Billy McFarland’s Instagram bio leads to a page that describes that the festival will be taking place in the Caribbean on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.
However, the description underneath states that “Fyre Festival II is targeted for the end of 2024.” So will it actually happen on December 6th? Or is this just a made-up date? Will the festival only be a one-day event? Where in the Caribbean will it be hosted? We have SO many questions.
The following ticket tiers will be on sale soon according to the ticketing site, with the second tier’s tickets starting at $799. Hopefully, more in-depth details will be unveiled before the second ticket tier is released to the public so they don’t get scammed like those who purchased the first tier if the second edition of the festival ends up being a no-go.
With so much more information surrounding Fyre Festival II yet to be announced, we hope this isn’t just a PR stunt that Billy is pulling yet again. Aspiring attendees can only wait and see what actually ends up happening with the idea behind all of this.
