The Halloween Music Festival roster for 2023.
As we approach the end of summer, its final stretch has us eagerly awaiting autumn, the season of pumpkin spice, sweaters, turkey and stuffing, and, most importantly, spook! There’s nothing that the spooky season cannot elevate. From Hocus Pocus and Halloween Town watch parties to RL Grime’s signature mix to Halloween-themed gatherings and rampant tricker-treaters, spooky season is elite. But beyond the traditional hot cocoa and humdrum, the roster of raves for 2023’s All Hallo’s Eve is both impressive and overstimulating. The options are endless, however, our curated list is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine, arouse the heebie-jeebies, and haunt your cruelest nightmares…
Located in Suwannee Music Park, FL, this music festival is Electric Forest vibes but make it Halloween. Ticket holders will be camping from October 26th through October 29th, making Hula one of the longer Halloween festivals – for those looking to get the best bang for their buck, Hulaween might be it.
With Hulaween being nestled in the woods of Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park, some of our favorite forest fairy Halloween looks for this festival include the Work Your Magic Dress And Wings Set, the Out Of The Woods Nymph Wings, and this Garden Goddess Costume Set.
This is the newer, sister festival to the Freaky Deaky in Texas. Be prepared for madness from October 27th through the 28th in the bustling Portland, OR, as ticket holders rave through the witching hour.
This festival is slotted to take place from October 28th through the 29th in Austin, TX, and is one of the more well-known options, best known for its killer lineup year after year (although being in one of the most up-and-coming, art-centric cities in America doesn’t hurt either)!
Some costume inspo to align with Freaky Deaky’s spooky theme include this Gothic French Queen costume and this men’s Futuristic Skeleton costume.
What’s in Salt Lake City, UT? If you guessed Mormons, that would be correct!!! Catch Joseph Smith and company at this epic Halloween-themed music festival from October 27th though the 29th. In all seriousness though, Salt Lake City is absolutely gorgeous, and the people are kind and down to earth. If you’ve never visited the city, Get Freaky might be the perfect opportunity.
Located in the remote and rural Darlington, MD, Nightmare Festival is a guaranteed haunt. The festival will take place from October 26th through the 29th, making it one of the longer festivals of the Halloween bunch and certainly worth checking out!
Body Language Presents: Super Unnatural
Taking place from October 27th through the 28th in Scottsdale, AZ, Body Language is great option for those looking for a city festival (not everyone is cut out to wook it in the woods, and that’s totally okay).
Seattle, WA is ready for Halloween… Are you? Get your tickets for Boo!, which is slotted for October 27th through the 28th in the heart of Seattle, an inherently spooky city of incessant fog, gloom, and doom.
Put on by Insomniac, the production company responsible for EDC and Electric Forest, Escape Halloween is destined to be an incredible time. The event will take place from October 27th through the 28th in San Bernardino, CA, and the lineup is killer. California’s roster does not disappoint!
Escape Halloween attendees are recognized for going all out with their Halloween rave attire. Check out these trending Barbie and Ken costumes in case you want to match with your rave bae, this celestial Among The Stars costume, and this men’s dark gray drape to heighten a more casual look.
If you’re into European grunge meets Latin America combined with spooky warehouses, this is your place, your people. Taking place from October 27th through the 29th in Miami, FL, Hocus Pocus is a city festival by Link Miami Rebels, the infamous group responsible for Miami’s Club Space phenomena.
Spooky season is 42 sleeps away…. but who’s counting? To pregame the best month of the year, venture below!
