Charlotte De Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano Celebrate 2 Year Anniversary
Techno’s Love Birds, Charlotte De Witte, and Enrico Sangiuliano share adorable Anniversary Posts on Instagram.
Charlotte De Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano took to Instagram to share a post commemorating the 2 year anniversary of ‘Age of Love.’ De Witte and Sangiuliano are techno’s Mom and Dad having gotten engaged a year or so back.
Enrico Sangiuliano writes in his post, “Today marks 2 years since me and Charlotte released our “Age Of Love” remix. A tribute to a masterpiece that came from pure passion and fun, born during our lockdown together to celebrate our music heritage and love without any expectation… which ended up being an original remix, getting a Golden Record, turning upside down dancefloors all over the planet and uniting people under a message of love, unity, and dance! This is what we celebrate ❤️🔥”
Charlotte De Witte followed with an equally adorable post, stating, “Today we celebrate our anniversary. Two years ago to this date, Enrico and myself released our remix of The Age Of Love. Infinite gratitude to the original artists and label for allowing us to touch such an iconic track. We’ve been bringing it to stages all over the world ever since and it has brought us and many others great happiness ❤️🔥”
‘Age of Love’ is techno gold, from its ethereal vocals asking to move your body and dance with me, to the pulsating beat that makes you want to throw on your darkest shades and be surrounded by strobe lights in a grimy warehouse. ‘Age of Love,’ written during the pandemic lockdown was a time when many felt alone, but live streams from producers and DJs were one thing that was able to let the community see camaraderie.
Picturing these two love birds, mixing, editing, and perfecting ‘Age of Love’ in a time when not much love was felt is wholesome and bring a smile to our faces. As we continue on as a community of music lovers, it is calming to know that we are in it together.
