What Happened to Boris Brejcha?
Boris Brejcha, the techno god, has an inspiring story that has fueled his quest for genius.
Boris Brejcha, typically under the guise of a Joker mask inspired by the Brazillian Carnival, has faced hardship in his life that has continued to fuel his career to mega-success. Having entered the scene in 2006, Boris Brejcha has made a name for himself with multiple high-tech minimal techno hits.
Boris Brejcha’s story is quite the inspiring one. As a child, he and his family were sadly impacted by the Ramstein Airfield crash of 1988. This resulted in major burn marks across his face.
This tragic event lead to him being bullied in school by his peers, which is just devastating. The bullying eventually lead him to drop out of school and begin to pursue a career in music full-time. This is when a techno genius was born!
His determination to overcome the evils of bullying has led him to be one of the most internationally known techno artists of our time. Having performed across the globe at various festivals and exclusive sets at historic landmarks in France. Some notable places of performance through the French streaming service Cercle are, Château de Fontainebleau and the Grand Palais. Both are absolutely stunning sets both visually and musically.
His legacy continues on August 18th, when his next single drops! ‘Vienna’ featuring Malena Navay is a beautiful homage to music. Malena Navay’s voice is full-bodied singing “Music is you, can you feel it?” This reminds us that music is a part of us, and for some, including Boris Brejcha it is what keeps us going.
The hunt for the next drop, the communal feeling of being at a show, and the atmosphere of electricity you feel around you can help to forget any struggle, at least for the night.
Let Boris Brejcha’s inspirational story be a reminder that there are hardships, and many that are out of our control, but let it be the force that continues to drive each and every one of us to level up from ‘Level One,’ pun intended. Sign up to pre-save ‘Vienna’ here!
