Sub Focus Drops Drum & Bass Remix of D.O.D’s “So Much In Love” After Glastonbury Debut

Sub Focus has released his remix of “So Much In Love” by D.O.D., putting a drum and bass spin on the hit.

The legendary drum and bass producer teased the remix at Glastonbury last month, keeping the crowd bouncing as the singer’s vocals play on top of the high-tempo beats. Sub Focus brings his hard-hitting drops to the upbeat original. With lyrics reflecting being in love and wanting to reconcile, the instrumental behind them fits the vibe.

The second build-up creates anticipation before a powerful drop with a different tone brings the remix to a close. D.O.D released the original at the end of April on Armada Music, quickly finding success with almost 10 million streams on Spotify. The DJ has hit #1 on Beatport charts multiple times, creating music that translates to both clubs and global festivals.

A summer anthem, “So Much In Love” is packed with a contagious energy that follows into Sub Focus’ remix. On Twitter, D.O.D. wrote, “Absolutely buzzing that Sub Focus has jumped on the ‘So Much In Love’ remix [celebrating hands emoji].”

Nick Douwma, also known as Sub Focus, has been bringing insane energy to the underground and global dance scene for two decades. His remixes and independent creations have inspired unsparing, yet melodic drum and bass. “So Much In Love” puts another hard-hitting song under his belt.

Sub Focus’ year has been crazy with the release of his fourth album, ‘Evolve,’ and his debut at Glastonbury. The rest of the producer’s year is stacked, playing Shambhala, Bassfest, and independent shows in Europe and North America. He announced that he is in “…remix season” and is set to drop more tracks this month.
