Watch Skrillex Fans Start Fire During his Set in Serbia

A fire was started right in the middle of the crowd during SKrillex’s set in Serbia.

Flames were seen blazing in a video caught by someone in the crowd while Skrillex was performing his set at Exit Festival in Serbia on Friday, July 7. The fire glowed red and orange with plumes of smoke rippling into the air over the packs of people.

The caption of the video shared says: “This set was LIT, to say the least.” Many people in the comments were mind blown at the sight. It is not common to see a fire in the middle of a rave crowd.

Some were fascinated by the fire and said: “Woodstock 99 vibes” and “I watched a live stream of this set. They were going crazy the whole time.” One person wanted to know how they were even capable of starting the fire and said: “What are they burning 99.9% alcohol?”

Although the main theme of the comment section was people pointing out the danger of the fire saying: “Don’t let this be a trend lol,” and “Is that not very dangerous wtf.” Along with “I’m surprised he didn’t stop the show and ask first responders to put it out,” “That’s beyond dangerous and a really stupid idea,” and “Dude people always gotta ruin stuff.” You can watch the video in the post below.

The Exit Festival ran from July 6-9 and was held at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia. It had a stacked lineup including Eric Prydz, Alesso, Wu-Tang Clan, Camelphat, Sofi Tucker, Vintage Culture, The Prodigy, Claptone, and more. Skrillex has been on the move lately with his 2023 tour and recent comeback into dance music. His songs “RATATA” and “Rumble” have become major staples in the scene since released earlier this year.

Catch Skrillex next at Hard Summer in Los Angeles, CA, on August 6, or at Elements in Long Pond, PA, on August 12. He will be in Spain, Netherlands, Auckland, and Australia. After that, he’ll be at Portola Music Festival in San Francisco, CA, on October 1 and iii Points Festival in Miami, Fl on October 20-21.
