Fred Again.. Teases Three New Singles for July

Fred Again.. is continuing his grind, hinting at the release of three new tracks in the near future.

The producer dropped three different videos, recording the sound waves of each song. In the post, he welcomed the new month before revealing that he is working on three different tracks. Inviting fans to let him know which one they are anticipating the most, the comment section was flooded with different numbers and requests for all of them.

The first, titled “ten (the firrrrrsttt day back),” is mellow and groovy, followed by the upbeat “adore u (toronto-home edit9)” that carries a similar, upbeat vibe. The final track that was teased, “JohnMystery (Edit3B),” uses heartbreaking lyrics that contribute to the chill melody. The trio of songs feels fresh, continuing the musician’s innovative path of combining electronic music, pop, and hip-hop

The snippets come shortly after Fred Again..’s massive set at Glastonbury, where he teased “adore u.” It was met with positive fan reception, who commented on how much they loved the track after hearing it there. One said, “TWO TWO TWO [crying emoji]. In honour of glasto. NUMBER 2.”

Other listeners said, “2 is amazing, but 1 hit me in the feels straight away.” Another replied, “1, it looks like it’s going to get better from here.” Amongst the debate about which song they liked the most, an overwhelming majority of the comments urged him to drop all of them, and soon.

Fred Again.. has had an insane year, playing Madison Square Garden and the Boiler Room, as well as hosting a Tiny Desk concert. The producer’s ability to weave through various genres shines in the clips and, as a result, hypes fans up for his latest creations.

No other details on the unreleased singles have been announced, but we cannot wait for them to drop. Get ready for the new tracks and listen to Fred Again… and Brian Eno’s latest album, ‘Secret Life,’ here:
