MRAK Releases Second Solo EP ‘Manifesto’ on Afterlife
MRAK returns with yet another spectacular SOLO release via otherworldly afterlife imprint.
Earlier today, one half of Tale of Us Carmine Conte, also known as MRAK, astonished fans with his most recent solo release. The release is a breathtaking two-track EP titled Manifesto, an astonishing follow-up to his debut solo project One back in 2021.
Although his partner in crime Anyma has had the spotlight recently, the time has finally come for MRAK to thoroughly shine and showcase his exemplary musical talents to melodic techno lovers across the globe. After listening to its entirety, Manifesto might just be the most captivating, mind-bending EP release Afterlife has seen this year.
The EP’s lead single “Manifesto” is an ode to all things pertaining to the afterlife and the notion of coexisting with beings from alternate dimensions. Following its instantaneous hypnotic and electrifying melodies, the track begins to slow down about halfway through and suddenly incorporates prophetic vocals that begin to articulate “I know you’re out there. I can feel you now”, in which the voice appears to be speaking to these cosmic spiritual beings.
“Equilibrium” then touches on the darker, more intensified segments of the human connection merging with the spiritual realm at its full potential. While it doesn’t feature any vocals at any point, the tune’s hard-hitting, heightened percussions are enough to leave listeners begging for more. The entire EP embodies MRAK’s seamless intertwining of multiple electronic genres into one immaculate musical masterpiece. Accompanied by a stunning, dreamlike video visual, MRAK has unveiled Manifesto in one of the most creative manners we’ve witnessed as of late.
It’s no mystery that Tale of Us has gained tremendous popularity over the past few years. With continuous astonishing releases on their highly-acclaimed Afterlife label and a plethora of mind-altering performances across the globe, this exemplary duo is quickly taking over the electronic dance music industry by storm both in unison and apart.
