An Inside Look at Jamie Jones’ ‘Paradise in the Park’ First 2-Day Event in LA

‘Paradise in the Park’ featured Artists such as Seth Troxler, SG Lewis, Honeyluv, ChloĂ© Caillet, and many more.

On June 3 and 4, Jamie Jones’ ‘Paradise in the Park’ made its way back down to Downtown, LA for another year of good vibrations in the city of angels. In conjunction with Future Primitive, the annual show hosted its first-ever 2-day experience which was nothing short of amazing. Many wondered why the company couldn’t push for an extra day since the music, lineup, and overall experience were spot on.

Day one set the bar with a great lineup including Cole Knight, HoneyLuv, DJ Harvey, and a 4-hour b2b with Paradise founder Jamie Jones and Seth Troxler. Day two featured Heidi b2b Masha Mar, Mason Collective, Chloé Caillet, SG Lewis (DJ set), and Jamie Jones. Both days offered some of the best house and techno from around the world right in the heart of Los Angeles.

When speaking about the festival, Jamie Jones said “When we first started Paradise in the Park, we really wanted to bring something intimate, but on a bigger scale, outdoors, in a beautiful cool location, but in the heart of LA somewhere. I have so many friends there and so many amazing memories, I spent the best part of a decade living there”

He continued, “The things I love the most is looking down into the crowd and especially seeing the pictures afterward, of what people were wearing and how they were dancing and how they were vibing out to the tunes. I think LA has got its own flavor when it comes to this”

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
