EZoo 2023 Teases Special Back-to-Back Set Ahead of Lineup Drop
EZoo drops quite the B2B hint as the festival continues to tease its 2023 lineup drop.
New York ravers, your patience is about to pay off. New York City’s premier electronic festival, Electric Zoo, returns to Randall’s Island this Labor Day weekend for its 2023 iteration. Despite the fact that this year’s lineup has yet to be dropped, limited 3-day passes are already available and selling fast. Last year’s lineup featured major players in the EDM community such as Diplo, John Summit, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, and Seven Lions to name a few. This can only mean this year’s edition is bound to be an out-of-this-world trip.
While fans are patiently waiting (or perhaps more accurately, chomping at the bit) for the 2023 lineup to be released, EZoo tweeted some incendiary news. A fan commented directly at John Summit asking, “Please add a show where it’s you b2b @domdolla” and @ElectricZooNY replied, “Sounds like a good idea.”
Users immediately flocked to the comments following this statement. Dancing Astronaut commented, “Electric zoo blink once if you’re lying,” to which the festival responded with a gif of a man with his eyes wide open. Fans also got in on the action, with one user commenting, “Don’t do this to me,” while someone else wrote, “Don’t play with us.”
While this potential John Summit B2B Dom Dolla set has EZoo fans excited, it hasn’t all been fun and games for future festivalgoers. Many fans are starting to get impatient with a lack of a lineup since the fest is only three months away. In fact, EZoo posted a few lineup teaser videos within the last couple of months with the most recent one hitting their page yesterday.
The caption reads, “Wanna know what’s fire (besides pyro because, duh?) Our lineup. Get ready for that drop!” Fans voiced their anticipation and worry about what feels like a never-ending build with no bass drop. One user commented, “Stop teasing and drop the lineup. A month ago was late,” while another wrote, “In the time Ezoo hasn’t dropped their lineup, I’ve bought Moonrise, Lost Lands, and EDC LV tickets.”
Coincidentally, Electronic Zoo made another video post about a week ago speaking to the idea of more fans being able to afford festival tickets. this year. “Dear Electric Zoo family,” the caption reads, “As electronic music fans, we all know that dancing is essential. And despite challenging economic conditions – such as job loss, inflation, and other financial hardships – music festivals should never seem like a luxury. But, more than ever, we need the love and support from our community, which is best shared on the dancefloor!”
The post went on to detail their limited introductory 3-day GA passes that are selling for only $179. While some applauded the fest’s accessibility in the comments, others continued to press for the lineup. Some even claim they won’t even bother going this year. While patience is wearing thin, hints such as this John Summit B2B Dom Dolla set are keeping hope alive for another epic EZoo.
