Electronic duo Odesza drops a sick announcement regarding their new cinematic project.
Odesza recently released a teaser for their forthcoming film, ‘The Last Goodbye: A Cinematic Experience.’ This release will celebrate Odesza’s fourth studio album, ‘The Last Goodbye,’ which was released in July of 2022. After a five-year hiatus, the compilation was released via the duo’s record label The Foreign Family Collective as well as Ninja Tune. This new, cinematic experience will provide fans with a novel way to experience the album, simulating a deep, immersive experience. Say less.
To hype up this forthcoming project, Odesza shared the teaser via Twitter. The media was succinct but powerful, replete with an epic poem that gives fans insight into the backstage world of Odesza. “IMAG show are you ready? IMAG is show ready,” the stage manager’s voice narrated. “Lasers are you show ready? Lasers ready. Front of house lighting and video, are you show ready? Show ready. Backline and drum LED, are you show ready? Show ready. Coming up with the guys to stage.”
The teaser also shares salient fan moments from the crowd — a girl crying, hand covering her mouth in awe, fans jumping up and down with anticipation, as well as reactions to the team’s animation and visuals. Undoubtedly, this will be a tribute to both the music and the fandom, the incredible following Odesza has cultivated through their decades of production.

Between the live percussion performance, the synchronized lights, and the attention to detail to curate an intense experience — it’s chilling. Odesza is a crowd favorite at massive music festivals such as Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, The Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, and many more. Their music is clean and melodic, and their shows are the same plus precision and meticulous creativity.
