Effin Shares Explosive Single “Get It On” Ahead of Debut Album

In anticipation of his debut album, bass music producer Effin has released “Get It On,” shining light on the musical influences his city has had on him.

Nashville-based dubstep artist, Effin, has dropped his new single on Bassrush Records, giving listeners a peak into his newest creative projects and plans for the future. The producer is getting ready to release his first album since he began releasing music in 2018. Over the last five years, he has gained support from Apashe, Excision, NGHTMRE, and more.

“Get It On” dives into the Motown and soul styles that dominate his city to this day. The beginning pulls direct inspiration from those genres before incorporating a hard rock sound. A clear musical influence continues throughout “Get It On” with the incorporation of 50’s and 70’s era piano riffs, drums, and guitars.

Effin’s signature dubstep sound shines when the drops come, keeping the same hard-hitting drums from previous build-ups. The producer combines retro and bass music seamlessly, adding impressive audiovisual productions.

“Get It On” is a tease of everything to come from me. A vintage explosion of sound, this one has been a staple in my sets. It’s a collage of decades of sound brought into the 21st century. This one’s built for the road and meant to be played loud,” Effin stated.

Effin has consistently blended vintage with new, creating tracks that reflect the past. His first releases of 2023, “Practice” and “Take Two,” follow the same path, heavily incorporating music samples from past eras. By doing so, he appeals to a modern electronic audience, intending to unite listeners.

If “Get It On” is just an introduction to what Effin has planned next, we cannot wait to see what the rest of his debut album will look like. Follow his social media to stay updated on his future record and what he has in store:
