Tycho Launches First-Ever Curated Music Festival in Napa California

Tycho is all Set to inaugurate the golden states festival in napa this summer.

Scott Hansen, better known as Tycho, is a lot of different things. As one of the most influential figures in the music industry, he juggles the duties of a producer, composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist at different turns. A lot of fans, however, tend to forget that he is also a curator, and he’s set to make sure we remember this time around.

The California-based artist will be debuting his very own festival this summer, and given his taste, our prediction is that it’ll be extraordinary. Tycho has just announced the lineup for the inaugural Golden States festival and it is exactly what we expected from him. Check out the poster below!

Golden States by Tyco is scheduled to take place on July 15 in Downtown Napa, California. The day-long event will feature a vibrant roster of musicians performing at the Oxbow RiverStage. This open-air venue absorbs Napa’s lazy summer sun and gives attendees the flexibility to move at their own pace.

Tycho will be playing a “special set” that will comprise his greatest hits as well as never-before-heard cuts from his forthcoming record. Additionally, the festival will feature performances by Channel Tres, Panda Bear & Sonic Bloom, Buscabulla, a DJ set by Washed Out, Brijean and Kaelin Ellis.

Previously, Tycho curated sublime events at the 2021 Brooklyn Mirage. The following year, he did the same in Denver. He is now ready to cultivate his ideas and “take those concepts further.” Excited about this development, he referred to Golden States as “the next evolution of that vision.”

“Some moments serve as high water marks by which all others are measured,” Tycho said. “We celebrate these Golden States and seek to recapture them.” If you haven’t settled on plans for the summer yet, be sure to consider heading over to Napa for a weekend! Tickets for Golden States are available here.
