Forbidden Kingdom 2023 is shaping up to be one of the biggest dubstep festivals of the year and is showcasing some of the most unique and talented artists in bass music.
Although many of the producers on the lineup are known for their heavy sound, some are slowing it down and giving a much-needed break in between the mosh-pits and rail breaking. Check out our can’t-miss sets of Forbidden Kingdom 2023.
- Drinkurwater
Drinkurwater is a rising star in the bass scene for his unconventional beats that literally sound like water and give you an “ear tickle.” This set will also serve as a friendly reminder to drink your water because the Florida heat in June is no joke.
2. Excision: Detox Set
Although you likely won’t be needing a neck brace after this Excision set, Detox sets are a chance to hear some of the best music in experimental bass and experience a different side of Excision’s artistic abilities. For those that aren’t fans of slowing it down, don’t worry; you will be getting the full Excision experience with a regular set on Friday and a detox set on Saturday to wind down.

Jessica Audiffred was an artist to watch in 2022 for some heavy-hitting singles such as “Rise” with Excision and “Check” with Bear Grillz, and she is taking 2023 by storm. She’s dubbed the “Bass Queen” for a reason and knows how to bring the energy.

The DnB takeover has hit the states, and the haters can take a back seat at this set. Zeds Dead B2B Chase & Status is the ultimate duo to give us the high-energy, chaotic sound we need.
