CloZee Gives Sneak Peek into Introspective ‘Microworlds’ Album with Title Track Release
CloZee drops new single as she gears up to put out an album this summer.
French DJ and record producer CloZee has released a new single and announced a new album due this summer. “Microworlds” is the title track of her forthcoming project, the release date of which has yet to be determined. Based on this taste test, it’s fair to say the package is going to be ethereal.
It’s apparent from the first listen that the track was put together with great precision. It’s dense yet delicate, and each detail stands out as well as it blends into its surrounding elements. CloZee stands out for this very reason — her astute studio process almost feels like alchemy.
CloZee says the following about her new single: “‘Microworlds’ is the title track and also the introduction of the album. ‘Microworlds’ is about how humans are so closely related to our vast universe. Humans are little universes themselves.”
She continues: “Our eyeball is like a planet, absorbing information, feelings, light and projecting them back. The iris is made of water streams, and our blood vessels are trees and their root systems. Looking into someone’s eyes is like looking at someone else’s world. That is what ‘Microworlds’ is about: stories, people, and memories that shaped my world, but that can also relate and shape someone else’s.”
Currently based in Colorado, CloZee is known best for her sonic portals that allow fans to escape this world and journey through another. Her compositions cultivate the imagination and encourage listeners to use her music as a catalyst to explore their own minds. This is no easy feat!
Aside from dropping a new record, CloZee will also play a series of shows in North America and Europe this summer. The schedule is as follows:
