Exron Exclusive Guest Mix 049: Darude
The musical genius behind one of the most iconic dance music tracks of all time “Sandstorm” has had quite the venerated career. Darude established himself in the early 2000s following the global success of “Sandstorm” which became an instant electronic music classic. Fast forward to 2023, Darude returns to the release radar after three-year hiatus with explosive collaborative track “Outlaws” with House Body and Oskr.
Since 2000, Darude has released three full-length albums and his music has been featured in Hollywood movies as well as advertisements for Nike and PlayStation. The Finnish artist has celebrated many career highs including performing at the New Year’s Eve countdown to celebrate 100 years of Finland’s independence in 2017.
Darude also accepted an invention to perform for Finland at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest that was held in Tel Aviv with the nation’s song choice of “Look Away” which was released on Armada Music. The talented producer and DJ started Vibing Out as a weekly live-streaming show to connect with fans and discuss industry topics. This year, Darude will focus on expanding his Vibing Out project by launching his audio and visual record label.
