Virtual Riot Drops Unofficial Remix of Skrillex and Fred Again..’s “Rumble”
Virtual Riot unexpectedly releases his “Rumble” edit via Twitter.
Back on January 4, Skrillex, Fred again… and Flowdan released one of dance music’s biggest tracks this year, “Rumble”. Since its release, several artists began remixing and flipping the track along with incorporating it into their own sets. This record was part of Skrillex’s sophomore album ‘Quest for Fire’. It wasn’t long until the trio of Skrillex, Fred again… and Four Tet would start playing remixes in their live shows.
One of the remixes that caught fire early on came from nonother than, Virtual Riot. The dubstep producer began teasing the track in his recent shows and fans could not stop commenting and asking for its release. Luckily for them, on March 15, Virtual Riot tweeted out a Soundcloud link to the track which made his fan’s day.
In addition, to the release of the remix, Virtual Riot just finished coming off of Subtronic’s 2023 Antifractal Tour. During the tour, Virtual Riot made 6 big appearances in cities such as San Jose, Reno, Los Angeles, Boston, St.Louis, and Cincinnati. During his Los Angeles appearance, he performed at one of the biggest stops on the tour which was at the sold-out Kia Forum show.
It’s good to see Virtual Riot back on track after the mental health break that he took at the end of last year. The life of an artist demands a lot of time, energy, stress and so much more. It’s important for our favorite artists to take time off to work on themselves so they can come back better and stronger.
Last but not least, don’t forget to check out “Rubmle” below. Virtual Riot fans can also stay in the loop via his Patreon, where he offers subscribers some of the best music production tutorials and sound design lessons money can buy.
