Alison Wonderland Taps Moore Kismet, 1788-L, and more for “Loner The Remixes” EP

Alison Wonderland has released her remix EP ‘Loner The Remixes’ on Astralwerks featuring eight tracks with VILLA, Fredrick, and others.

Alison Wonderland has recruited eight talented producers to put a fresh spin on tracks from her vulnerable third album, ‘Loner.’ The EP includes eight remixes out of the thirteen songs on the original album. It expands genres and adds flair to the original’s already-powerful songs.

Pauline Herr’s rework of “Forever” starts the EP off strongly, transcending listeners with her soft voice and melodic instrumental before going into VILLA’s trap remix of “Safe Life” with layered bass and vocal chops. 1788-L mixes “F**k U Love U” into a unique track with drum and bass build-ups followed by Fredrick’s drum and bass mix of “New Day.”

Tracks five and six from LEER and Friend Within bring pumping house beats to the EP with their adaptations of “Down the Line” and “Something Real.” Hex Cougar’s remix of “Thirst” was the first track off of the EP to be released earlier this month. The heavy dubstep mix brings the pitch down, adding in additional bass and breakdowns.

Moore Kismet’s version of “Loner” completes the EP beautifully with dreamy melodies and high-pitched synths. They adapt aspects of the original to fit their own dubstep style. All eight of the artists featured bring something different to the compilation, keeping it interesting the entire way through.

‘Loner The Remixes’ is Alison Wonderland’s third remix album, following ‘Awake The Remixes’ and ‘Run Deluxe Edition – Remixes.’ The musician is highly skilled in composition and production. She frequently gives light to rising producers that are perfecting their own artistry.

Rolling Stone Australia Awards nominated Alison Wonderland for their 2023 Rolling Stone Global Award. One day prior to the release, she announced her pregnancy, giving her and her listeners three incredible things to celebrate. Listen to ‘Loner The Remixes’ here:
