Rezz Shows Her Goth Side in New Single “Suffer in Silence”

Rezz has released her new brooding single “Suffer in Silence” – a hypnotizing track with goth influences – on her label, HypnoVision.

Rezz has released her hypnotizing new single, “Suffer in Silence,” on her personal label HypnoVision. The track stays true to her downtempo sound, adding a notable song to her already-impressive discography.

An iconic and ever-growing force in the scene, Isabelle Rezazadeh, better known as Rezz, consistently changes up her signature style by pulling sounds from different genres. With “Suffer in Silence,”  she explores goth influences to illustrate a period of insomnia and anxiety in her life. The single effectively pulls the listener in with an intriguing tone that builds off of her past releases.

The track opens with ominous, high-pitched synths and basslines before chimes and overall spooky melodies come into the mix. The anticipation builds before a dark, room-encapsulating mid-tempo drop. The song pulls sounds from gothic rock as she continues defying genres through her craft.

For those who have seen Rezz’s live sets, the single is not necessarily a new listen, as she has included the track in a majority of her shows, including Nightmare on Rezz Street 2 at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre last year, making the release just as exciting as longtime listeners and new fans alike.

The Canadian producer has been in the game for ten years, dropping mixes on Soundcloud before releasing her first two award-winning albums on Mau5trap and her most recent record ‘Spiral.’ The single follows her moody first release of 2023, “Gyrate,” with Quackson and Wreckno. So far, HypnoVision’s label has three releases, ‘Nightmare on Rezz Street 2 Mix,’ “Gyrate,” and “Suffer in Silence” that all follow encapsulate a similar brooding vibe.

Rezz is playing shows in North America, New Zealand, and Europe through September. While we wait for new projects from Rezz, listen to “Suffer in Silence” here:
