Fans Speculate Virtual Riot Welcomes New Woman into Poly Relationship

Amid speculations of Virtual Riot welcoming visual artist NEURITE into his polyamorous relationship, the latter shut down rumors.

German DJ and producer Valentin Brunn, better known as Virtual Riot, has been making the news for reasons related to both his music and personal life. After proposing to his then-girlfriend of eight years in 2019, Valentin and Johanna Brunn entered a polyamorous relationship with another married couple, tour manager Ava Clover and producer LeKtriQue. Additionally, Johanna had a boyfriend named Jojo.

For this reason, Virtual Riot became the subject of gossip and intense speculation from fans as well as the media. Following a series of dramatic events that spanned all of last year, he split with Johanna but has continued his relationship with Clover. After a recent Instagram post comprising multiple images that show Virtual Riot with Clover and visual artist NEURITE, social media users are wondering if the German musician has found another partner.

It wasn’t long before NEURITE stepped in and shut down the rumors, most likely to the disappointment of the thousands who’ve been fixated on Virtual Riot’s love life and its theatrics. Based on the Instagram post, it appears that the VJ, animator, and production designer has been working with the DJ and his girlfriend on a virtual reality project. She is currently married and maintains that her relationship with said artist is strictly professional.

“no double rizz,” she wrote in response to a fan. “to clear things up I am not sleeping with Val or dating him I have worked with him as his J/Animator/ Production designer for 6+ years and am monogamously married to Dodge.”

Last year, Virtual Riot and Clover celebrated their two-year anniversary. The pair seem to be going strong despite a series of allegations made against them and LeKtriQue by Johanna. The allegations involved physical and drug abuse by the other three members involved in the polyamorous relationship. Soon after, she took to social media and redacted all her statements, which confused a lot of people.

Approximately six months later, she returned to social media and went back on her redaction. She claimed that she was intimidated and forced into taking back what she said about her former partners. Soon after, Virtual Riot canceled his November shows, saying that 2022 had been a difficult year for him and that he needed a break. Considering his ex-wife claims to have video proof backing up her allegations, the conflict is likely far from over.
