Damian Lazarus Celebrates 20 Years of Crosstown Rebels with Huge Label News

Let’s talk about the enormous news concerning the 20-year anniversary of Damian Lazarus’s label Crosstown Rebels.

Damian Lazarus honors Crosstown Rebels with a commemoration after two decades of the label’s continuous growth and global success. Damian founded his label, Crosstown Rebels, in 2003 after some time working as an A&R in the music industry. During the beginning years, he brought artists Art Department, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, and Maceo Plex. Now their roll call is extensive spanning across the globe.

Subsequently, this past week he shared his joy and passion for the label he created. “20 years ago I dreamed a dream of creating a family of like-minded, crazy individuals from all corners of the planet.,” his IG post caption began. Moreover, Damian has not only attained achievements within the label but in his own DJ and production career as well.

He continued, “Releasing music to the world and making people dance. That dream was Crosstown Rebels and this year we are 20.” In the course of that time, their roster has blown up to nearly 100 plus highly respected artists in the dance community. Throughout the years these artists have become lifelong friends. Undoubtedly, creating a space for “the most colorful characters in dance music.”

“Crosstown Rebels is more than a record label, it is Family,” he went on to say. Without a doubt leaving a mark on the hearts of artists and music lovers alike. Amid building the label, Damian also propagated two sister labels Rebellion and Secret Teachings. Each label descends into different aspects of sound, uniquely their own.

Crosstown Rebels is not only impacting music but also the future of sustainability on our planet. The label established Crosstown Consciousness to spotlight awareness of all components of the label to be environmentally viable. With all this in mind it’s no surprise with their 20-year anniversary Damian wants to bring more to their global community in celebration.

The initial IG reel continued, “With support from our friends at @volcantequila, there will be parties and events around the world.” Damian also plans on a book and short film to accompany the 20-year mark events. There will also be a tour, announced Monday, March 6th. Until then snag your tickets to see Damian’s next performance on March 24th at the All Gone Pete Tong Pool Party in Miami Beach.
