Watch Ellie Goulding Sing Unreleased Calvin Harris Collab in 900-Year-Old Church
A new Goulding and Harris collaboration is teased with a clip of its live performance in an old church in London.
Calvin Harris applauds Ellie Goulding in a new Instagram post, writing, “Wow @elliegoulding plus 900 year old church acoustics 😳 / New one is on the way!” Fans are exhilarated by the continued hinting of their forthcoming collaboration.
The impending collaboration from the artists, titled “Miracle” as we can see from the post’s sound’s title, is a long-awaited one. Many fans and producers alike commented on the post expressing their excitement, including Diplo, Alesso, Dzeko, and more.
Of course, Harris and Goulding are no strangers to the EDM community. Goulding’s features on hit tunes like Skrillex’s “Summit,” Seven Lions’ “Don’t Leave,” and Silk City’s “New Love” have dance music fans loyally in awe. And as one of the most popular DJs in the world, staple hits like “We Found Love” and “This is What You Came For” featuring Rihanna, and “Feel So Close” have made Harris a non-negotiable household name on every dancefloor.
But the two EDM icons have a history of collaborations together as well. You might recognize their merging from tunes like “I Need Your Love” (2012) and “Outside” (2014). The two have been known to the public to be close friends ever since, and so fans are absolutely exuberant at their reunion, musically and personally.
This collaboration specifically is one that Harris and Goulding have been hinting at for a while. On January 12, Harris posted a photo of the two in the studio, writing, “Back in studio!! It’s time for the third installment of our banging song trilogy.” The pair certainly know how to drum up anticipation.
In Harris‘ most recent post, Goulding is seen singing inside the historic Great St. Bart’s, the 900-year-old church in London. The church thanked them by commenting “Thank you for visiting our historic church! You are welcome back anytime.” Check out Goulding’s post below and stay tuned for the song’s official release!
