Skrillex’s Upcoming Album Includes Rare Porter Robinson Collaboration

Skrillex revealed the tracklist to his upcoming album ‘QUEST FOR HIRE’ and delighted fans with a special collaboration with Porter Robinson.

Skrillex and Porter Robinson fans will be ecstatic over the latest news of the duo’s collaboration on the former’s new album. Posting a 24-minute video of a basement set, Skrillex performed 13 new songs from his upcoming project, ‘QUEST FOR HIRE’, and revealed the track list on his YouTube page, attracting close to a million views within three days.

Positive comments on his YouTube flooded instantly, with fans commenting on his set as the “EDM Superbowl” and praising the cinematography and lighting works of the production. For the Grammy-Award-winning artist, his upcoming album will add yet another exciting chapter to his more than stellar discography.

Slated for release on Friday, February 17. Skrillex’s upcoming work is a formidable collaborative project. With featured artists like Fred Again…, Aluna & Kito, Four Tet, Missy Elliott, Pete Wentz, and Eli Keszler, he undoubtedly knows the delectable formula to solidify himself as one of the best and most remarkable artists to date.

Amongst all the featured artists, fans are stoked to find out that the final track “STILL HERE (WITH THE ONES THAT I CAME WITH), included a rare Porter Robinson collaboration. The track opened with impassioned vocals from his basement set video before cascading into climatic breakdowns and anthemic melodies, a signature fusion for Robinson. The two have been friends for over a decade, and this collab marks a huge milestone in their careers as golden-age EDM artists.
