Fred again.., Four Tet and Skrillex To Make NYC Debut at Good Room On Valentine’s Day

Informally known as Pangbourne House Mafia following their London b2b2b performance, groundbreaking electronic artists Fred again.., Four Tet and Skrillex are bringing the same energy to New York tonight.

Following Pangbourne House Mafia’s (Fred again.., Four Tet, and Skrillex) epic debut in London in January, Fred again.. teased an NYC version of the extravaganza to his Discord. The subtle yet exciting (and somewhat cryptic) announcement read, “02.15-19 PHM NYC,” with no further details. However, coming from the king of pop-up DJ sets, fans wouldn’t have expected to receive this news any other way.

On Monday, Fred announced that he and Four Tet landed in NYC. The two shared that they were “in NY trying to get venues sorted etc.” Today, Skrillex joined the two in New York, and PHM was officially back in action for round two.

Anyone who forgot about the announcement or was concerned about the lack of updates surrounding the event, don’t fret! Fred again.., Four Tet, and Skrillex have all touched down in NYC and secured a venue for this once-in-a-lifetime show run. For the first stop, the trio will be performing at Good Room in Brooklyn tonight, on Valentine’s Day.

Skrillex is in the midst of dropping not one but two brand new albums, packed with IDs and collaborations. The initial offering, ‘Quest For Fire’ officially drops on Friday, 2/17. More details to come on the second new album, ‘Don’t Get Too Close.’

Fred again.. and Four Tet have been busy in the studio as well. Not long ago, Fred shared his massive single, “Jungle,” which he noted was the product of studio sessions alongside none other than Four Tet. Meanwhile, Skrillex and Fred broke the internet with their recent collab, “Rumble.”

NYC fans may be lucky enough to hear these tracks live plus much more this week. The first pop-up show will be at Good Room in Brooklyn tonight and already sold out in seconds. Stay tuned for more show announcements, as this trio will be in town all week!

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
