Mousai Makes Solo Debut on SSKWAN with Dreamy ‘Audible Imagery’ EP

The rising star, Mousai, makes his solo debut on the prestigious downtempo label SSKWAN with his dreamy EP, ‘Audible Imagery’.

This week, Mousai – a newcomer to Liquid Stranger‘s label SSKWAN – released a five-track EP to mark his solo debut on the label. The talented artist will surely make waves with his entrancing style, an apt fit for SSKWAN’s hypnotic cinematic sounds. Through and through, the ‘Audible Imagery’ EP is a testament to Mousai’s versatility and creative vision.

Each track effortlessly blends elements of R&B and ambient electronic music, resulting in a uniquely somber and equally beautiful sound. From the calming “Audible Image” to the more wub-filled “Whirlwind”, the EP takes listeners on a meditative journey with its otherworldly sounds. Each track feels like a warm hug, painting vivid pictures with the bass and warped vocal interludes alone.

Mousai made his entrance into SSKWAN with his single “Dreamscape,” featured on the inaugural SYNERGY Compilation released last month. On this EP, Mousai introduces us to a blend of comforting and uplifting dreamlike soundscapes, creating an “audible image.” The result is both sonically and spiritually impressive, each track adding extra depth and emotion to his musical profile.

The artist recently spoke about the inspiration behind the EP and his journey to making his solo debut. Particularly, he shared how deep a place his music came from and his hopes to help people through it. Undeniably, Mousai’s soulful and compassionate energy demonstrates his desire to help people forge deeper bonds with the music community.

Following a successful sunrise set at Dancefestopia, Mousai is preparing for his much-anticipated inaugural audio/visual Planetarium series ‘Ourania’ this year. Unsurprising given the depth of his music, Mousai plans to generate funds for charity in hopes of creating a safe place to give back and share the beauty of downtempo music.

Ultimately, the debut of Mousai on the SSKWAN label with the “Audible Imagery” EP is a major milestone in the young artist’s career and an apt reflection of his inimitable creative vision. Fans and critics will likely eagerly await his next move, and it’s quite clear that Mousai is poised for greatness in the months and years to come.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 10+ years now. I have always had a knack for writing and the power of words, which I continued cultivating through a Philosophy degree in college. Now a law school graduate, I eventually hope to merge my passions by working in music law. I am an avid traveler and am certainly not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My next bucket list festivals to attend are Tomorrowland in Belgium and Sonus in Croatia. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists include Franky Wah, Mochakk, Kevin de Vries, and Eli Brown.
