Gem & Tauri’s Emma Wraps First Headline Tour with Emotional Message to Girlfriend Courtney and Husband Seven Lions

Congratulations are in order for woman-powered DJ duo Gem & Tauri for selling out their first-ever headlining tour.

Gem & Tauri celebrate the wrap of their first tour that began in Aspen, CO and hit several major cities like Salt Lake City, Washington DC, Honolulu, and Brooklyn, ending in their hometown of Seattle. This is a huge accomplishment for Courtney Simmons and Emma Montalvo (aka Gem & Tauri) as they carve out their lane in the electronic scene with their curated blend of deep tech and progressive house flair.

Over the past couple of years since the ladies have built quite a reputation in the scene under the wing of their Seven Lions. Quickly climbing in popularity, Gem & Tauri’s music is dynamic and moody with sounds that fill the space of the room with emotion. Finding their home on Ophelia Records, their style is a refreshing extension to the label’s usual melodic sound.

In 2020 the duo released their debut EP, All You Need, followed by several other singles and remixes including Hear My Call (feat. Tyler Graves), “Back to Me” (feat. Bella Renee) remix, “Crash Into Me” (feat. Tyler Graves), and their latest thruple collaboration with Seven Lions on the “Miss You” (feat. GG Magree) remix.

At the end of their tour, Emma took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post about her team, girlfriend counterpart Courtney, and her husband Jeff.  

“We wrapped our first national headline tour last weekend with a sold out show at Ora Seattle and… DAMN! do I feel proud of myself! Thank you to everyone who came to our shows and to everyone who helped support us from our agency team @wassermanmusic our manager @enneazoe our road crew @fixationphotography & @laurababyy13 and of course @sevenlionsmusic for the pep talks when the anxiety set in and the flowers every time we got home from a long tour weekend. I feel blessed to travel with you @courtsimmons thank you for being strong when I was not and all of your hard work and motivation when I had none! Upward and onward from here y’all! I can’t wait to share what we have going on this year!

Feeling the love, Courtney replied “Aw babe I’m proud of us. I love doing life with you.”

If you thought these ladies were ready to slow down, think again! Today Gem & Tauri announced they will be embarking on their biggest adventure yet joining Seven Lions on his “Beyond the Veil – The Journey III Tour” starting in April. The 41-stop tour will also include support from the likes of Adam Bayer, Bexxie, Jason Ross, Mitis, Oblvyn, and Trivecta.
