HARD Summer Announces Historic Return to LA After 10 Years
Hard Summer will be held at Los Angeles’ Exposition Park’s multi-stadium grounds.
Back in 2008, HARD Summer (HSMF) made its debut at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California. Since then, HARD has taken its festival all around Southern California. From venues such as the LA Historic Park, Whittier Narrows, Pomona Fairplex, Fontana Speedway, Glen Helen Amphitheater, and eventually NOS. However, this year, HARD has something very special planned for the city of angels.
On August 5 & 6, HSMF will make its debut at LA’s historic Exposition Park. Within the park grounds lies the historic Memorial Coliseum, Banc of California stadium, as well as large fields for additional stages. The main stage will be on the south side of BMO Stadium, while the house and techno artists will be performing on the Pink Stage at Christmas Tree Lane Park. Additionally, multi-genre acts will be playing on the HARDER Stage on the South Lawn. Bass music aficionados can shake the rail at the festival’s Green Stage inside the LA Memorial Coliseum. And finally, experimental live acts and new subgenres host their talents on the Purple Stage inside BMO stadium.
“We are thrilled to host HARD Summer’s return to Los Angeles as part of our centennial anniversary celebration,” said Joe Furin, General Manager of the LA Coliseum. “As home to the most iconic events in the world, this festival is an exciting addition to our 100-year history.”
As HSMF goes into its 10th year of programming, they continue to create amazing events and experiences. Their ability to host in different venues shows their versatility and creative techniques as a company. Looking ahead, LA fans hope HSMF finds its new home in this amazing new venue. Attendees can get to Exposition Park by metro, bus, rideshare, and so much more.
