What So Not Shares Encouraging Shoutout To Up and Coming Artists
After taking to social media to seek budding new musical acts, What So Not shares a cluster of extraordinary candidates fitting the bill.
What So Not praises promising new talent after hundreds of noteworthy music creators reply to his search for his tour support. Earlier this month he announced his new tour Anomaly, a captivating new rave experience. ANOMALY: Immersive Mode Tour has already sold out in Denver and Los Angeles. Currently, he is prepping for each show’s massive unique visuals to take on the road.
On January 18th he took to Twitter on a quest to locate fresh prospects to open for his sets in four upcoming cities. The tweet began “Who are some great local acts in Denver, SF, LA, Vegas?” He went on to discuss the previous year on tour. “My last Denver hard ticket show I put @thequietbison on his first-ever set! (i think he was 17 & his mom came too?),” he continued.
Last year Quiet Bison went on a U.S. Tour with Flume. “For this immersive run I wanna put ppl on who are doing something really special, doesn’t matter big or small,” wrapped up his tweet. Since then he was bombarded with a slew of tracks received from interested artists. What So Not posted a follow-up on Instagram in regard to the outpour of options for his tour.
The IG post captioned, “Thank you for sharing. We’ll be reaching out shortly. See y’all at the shows!” The post was accompanied by a carousel of nine acts out of hundreds he received. “Going through what makes the most sense sonically etc & what cities people are in,” he stated. With so many choices making it difficult to choose, What So Not concluded, “I wanted to share a couple acts I thought were exciting & everyone should check out!”
The first artist was Mayko out of San Diego with his track, “You Got It.” Followed by “Ascending” by Etori off Los Angles based label Delusional Records. The third artist Unit 333 from L.A. with their song, “Breakdown to Breakthrough.” Then continues to Vision Records artist Jon Casey with “Tippler.” Next up is “Sky Cathedral” by Denver-based artist HÉRISSÉ. With so many amazing tracks and this only half.
Ramon Pang, the sixth artist, from Los Angeles with his song “Hold Me Under.” Then “Loss Combinator,” another L.A. artist Gamer. Up next, on deck Dank Frank with “Hollow Thoughts.” Concluding with “NotLö” by Abysmal off Austin-based label Gravitas Records.
