CloZee Addresses Silence on Social Media and Announces Big Career News

CloZee’s big career news includes an announcement of two new albums, and Odyzey and Voyage updates.

A revered name in the electronic music industry, French musician, DJ, and record producer CloZee‘s world-culture-inspired bass has a sound that attracts a diverse range of fans. On Thursday she answered some long-awaited questions with a post; here is CloZee’s big career news.

CloZee wrote on Instagram: “Hey everyone! Sorry I’ve been a little quiet, I’ve been catching my breath from the most insane year of my career. Wanted to share some news with you: / 1. There will be a new album… actually 2 ? one is a collab with a very dear friend, and the other will be my follow up to Neon Jungle, kicking off the next chapter / 2. @odyzeymusic – There is sooo much good music from really incredible artists that we are excited to share with you. ? / 3. Voyage – We are going to continue Voyage in 2024. This year, we need to prioritize the studio time and the amount of energy it takes to curate those Voyage sets would distract from what needs to be done at home. We can’t wait to share details on 2024 very soon!”

Many fans believe that CloZee’s impending collaboration album might be with producer and DJ LSDREAM. One fan commented on CloZee’s post, “[…] yes it’s lsdream collab. He confirmed it in the lsdreamers fb group late last year :),” while another fan commented, “he confirmed this at wobble [Coliseum].” In September, LSDREAM himself posted a short on YouTube with the title: “Making a BUNCH of music with #CloZee, excited to share more with you soon!”

CloZee‘s other upcoming album is set to be a follow-up to ‘Neon Jungle,’ her 10-track sophomore album released in 2020. ‘Neon Jungle’ received stunning reviews, with descriptions such as colorful and lucid. The album had an expansive sound perfect to be enjoyed in the outdoors, so we can look for something along these lines in her follow-up LP.

CloZee also made an announcement in conjunction with her own record label, Odyzey Music, the label on which ‘Neon Jungle’ was released. She founded the label in 2020 to take “listeners to a sonic voyage, exploring a hybrid of live and electronic elements […] drawing inspiration from all around the world.” CloZee announced that Odyzey Music will be releasing new music from a variety of artists in the near future!

Last but not least, CloZee made an announcement about her and Odyzey Music’s musical festival Voyage, one filled with curated music, arts, and activities. In 2022, they held their second annual festival in Tennessee, outside of Nashville. CloZee says the next installation will be in 2024 and that in 2023, they are focusing on studio time to prepare.
