Amid a slew of recent Chainsmokers headlines, Selena Gomez took to Instagram to deny claims that she is dating Taggart.
From DJing at an upstate NY casino to venues worldwide, Drew Taggart certainly knows how to draw a crowd’s attention. Rumors circulated that the American DJ is dating Selena Gomez after photos surfaced of the two bowling together in NYC. However, Selena Gomez has denied reports that she’s dating Drew Taggart, setting the record straight on Instagram.
The rumors began earlier this month when Us Weekly reported that Selena Gomez was in a relationship with the DJ/producer. Sources told the outlet that the couple was “very casual and low-key,” and are still in the early stages. An eyewitness also told Page Six that the two were “making out” during their time on the lanes.
However, Gomez denied the rumors via an Insta story that she later deleted. The singer-actress shared a black-and-white photo of a lonely hill captioned, “I like being alone too much. #iamsingle.” Although she quickly deleted the post, the message was loud and clear.
Selena Gomez’s clarification about her relationship status comes on the heels of media linking her to Italian Canadian producer Andrea Iervolino. Last summer, the Golden Globe-nominated actress appeared on a yacht with Andrea and friends while celebrating her 30th birthday in Italy. Meanwhile, Drew Taggart recently admitted to dating Steve Jobs’ youngest daughter, Eve Jobs.
Selena Gomez has been single since her split from Justin Bieber in 2018. Since then, she has been focusing on her music and mental health and has made it clear that she’s enjoying her freedom and independence.
