Denver-Based Newcomer CLRBLND. Reveals Debut Single “Falling Back”

A new Denver-based artist has entered the deep house realm, CLRBLND.

Electronic producer and singer/songwriter Michael Bolland has just revealed the first single from his new project CLRBLND. Offering a refreshing soundscape, the Denver-based artist taps deep house elements to craft his debut offering.

“Falling Back” encapsulates stirring house melodies with the addition of his own soothing vocals flowing through the verses and melodic guitar riffs throughout the chorus. CLRBLND. instantly showcased a vast understanding of the structure of deep house with his own instrumental and vocal twist.

“Falling Back” is a 4-minute track that takes you through all the feels of falling back into a past relationship, and what it would be like to be together again. Some of the vocals include, “take my hand, I’ll show you better. I’ll be the one to hold you through this time, stay with me tonight.”

The Denver-based artist is set to release more originals and remixes in early 2023. Bolland announced he would start CLRBLND. as a side project earlier last year and has been working on his new releases ever since. Before Bolland launched the first CLRBLND. single, he performed as his other collaborative project Who’s Calling.

Clearly an avid music lover, Bolland also released music under his own name with “Quiet” and under his duo project Who’s Calling. He recently performed as Who’s Calling at High Ground in Denver this past October. Bolland’s new electronic music project CLRBLND. combines his love for various genres as he showcases his aptitude for curating alluring sonic landscapes.

Denver is known for having a pretty active electronic music scene as it is home to a highly recognizable festival and show location, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, which is only a 45-minute drive from the city. Red Rocks has welcomed several big-name artists over the years including GRiZ, Skrillex, Alison Wonderland, and more.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
