Electronic Music Represents 40% of Coachella Lineup in 2023
Coachella’s 2023 festival is full of electronic artists from all around the world.
It’s that time of the year again because Coachella has dropped its long-awaited annual lineup. This year is not only one for the books but one for electronic music as a whole. 40% of the lineup is made up of electronic acts which are massive for the world of EDM. The festival will take place on the weekends of April 14-16 and April 21-23.
The world-renowned electronic stages such as the Sahara tent, DoLab, and Framework’s Yuma tent all return this year in full throttle. For Coachella attendees, this is a year you don’t want to miss.
Right off the bat, the headliners this year include Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean. Calvin Harris is also on the lineup as a standalone headliner who will most likely make a Sunday appearance. Some of the many electronic acts include Eric Prydz’s one-of-a-kind ‘HOLO’ show, Deadmau5′s TESTPILOT alter-ego, The Chemical Brothers, Kaytranada, Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex, Vintage Culture, Chris Lake b2b Fisher, Porter Robinson and so many more. Â
As previously mentioned, the Yuma tent will be returning this year and always hosts some of house and techno’s finest. This year’s Yuma roster will most likely include Adam Beyer, Jamie Jones, Idris Elba, Nora En Pure, Mochakk, PAWSA, Dennis Cruz, Chris Stussy, Keinemusic, Hot Since 82, DJ Tennis b2b Carlita, and ChloĂ© Caillet. The combination of an air-conditioned tent, strobing lights, lasers, and the famous disco shark is a sight to be seen.
All in all, this edition of Coachella looks like it will be one to remember. Music festivals are here to bring people together from all walks of life, and this Coachella lineup definitely reflects that.
