Genre-bending Sullivan King’s title track ‘Thrones of Blood’ is released in anticipation of his upcoming full-length album.
American DJ and heavy metal musician Sullivan King’s title track single for his upcoming album ‘Thrones Of Blood’ was released on January 12. Accompanying the single is “Let Me Go,” a track featuring Wooli, and “The Dead March,” featuring Ray Volpe.
Sullivan King’s anticipated album ‘Thrones Of Blood’ will be released on March 17th on Monstercat. It will be his third studio album, and first with this label.
A metal guitar virtuoso, vocalist, songwriter, and electronic music producer, Sullivan King is an innovative genre-bender displaying true artistry. Uniquely fusing dubstep and rock, Sullivan King’s live shows consist of guitar-shredding, singing, DJing, and pit-jumping. Jack Rogers of Rock Sound wrote of Sullivan King: “Raised on a diet of as much post-hardcore as dubstep, he’s setting out to bring the rock and EDM communities together in a way that no-one has done before.”
“Thrones of Blood” is released following a career-defining year for Sullivan King. His discography thus far includes collaborations with greats such as FEVER 333, Ice Nine Kills, Excision, and Subtronics. In addition, after finishing up his Loud & Reckless NA tour, the artist had a summer full of festivals including Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza Paris, Hard Summer, Ilesoniq, and more.
Sullivan King’s title track single is profuse with guttural screams, menacing guitar shredding, soul-piercing bass, and head-banging hooks. Sullivan King shares, “‘Thrones of Blood’ is the title track to my third album. It just felt like it encompassed the energy that I wanted to achieve with this record overall while standing out from every other song as well as carrying on the tonal direction of ‘LOUD’, which came out last year. Insanely proud of this track and can’t wait to play this one all tour long!!”
Accompanying his March 17th album, Sullivan King will hit the road on a 30+ date ‘Thrones Of Blood’ tour headlining iconic venues including LA’s Hollywood Palladium (x2), Emo’s in Austin, DC’s Echostage, the Majestic Theater in Detroit, and more. The tour will feature added support from Kai Waichi, YOOKiE, Level Up, Benda, and Vastive. Tickets are on sale now, here.
