As we head into 2023, be on the lookout for these emerging NYC Artists in the EDM scene.

Two thousand and twenty-two was a big year for the electronic music scene, inviting more pent-up, in-person energy back than ever before after a couple years locked in the pandemic. As we enter a year that promises even more liveliness, here are five emerging NYC artists to watch in 2023.

Lost in Beijing

Compiled of Shanghai student Rugby Scruggs and New Yorker Ethan Serjak, this DJ duo has recently announced across their socials and streaming platforms: “The version of Lost in Beijing that has existed since 2017 is dead. We are building something bigger.” Fans and new followers, be sure to expect a surprise evolved project from these two in the coming year.

Aazure

In October, we heard the French producer’s breakout tech house single ‘Pressure,’ and he already has nearly 3,000 monthly listeners on Spotify from this one drop. In 2023, we’re surely going to look out for more grooving hits from this newly-successful artist!

Michael Anthony

This melodic and progressive house DJ and producer has been seen performing in NYC for years now. Already possessing hits on international charts, the dance community looks forward to new releases and performances from Michael Anthony in the coming year.

Local Dialect

The DJ duo comprised of Sam Perricone and Reed Tan work primarily out of their basement studio in Queens, New York City. As their first releases date back to 2018, 2022 has been one of their most active years. We are looking forward to their continued musical growth in 2023!

ChaseWest

Last but not lease, ChaseWest is a Lebanese born artist distinguished in combining house and sampling elements. As most of his singles thus far have been released in 2022, he definitely will only grow from here; be on the lookout for more material from ChaseWest in the coming year!
