The Chainsmokers Make Appearance at LA Costco

Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, also known as The Chainsmokers, promote their authentic tequila brand JAJA in a millennial fashion.

What better way are you supposed to attract the millennials and promote your premium tequila brand other than going to the most millennial hotspot in America you can think of (and no, it is not Chili’s– Thank you John Summit). “The Kirkland brand DJs”, known as The Chainsmokers, took a visit to a Costco Wholesale located in Los Angelos to promote their tequila brand JAJA which they co-own with Martin Hoffstein, Maurice Tebele, and social media mogul Eliot Tebele.

JAJA Tequila embraces a traditional process and eco-friendly production of its products by working with the Master Distiller at La Cofradia. Since 2018, each JAJA product has been authentically sourced with 100% agave Azul to highlight the sweet and herbal notes of vanilla, caramel, and spice in each batch.

Notable publications such as Forbes magazine have recognized JAJA Tequila for its innovative strategy of the “millennial mindset” to create viral advertising and content. It is safe to say that The Chainsmokers won employee of the month with the assistant to the regional manager according to @madds in the Instagram comments.

Fans and friends of the DJ duo quickly showed support for the Costco pop-up by commenting on the Instagram post. Fans such as @dally_h & @pottersfieldmusic were trolling if The Chainsmokers were releasing a Kirkland song and doing a “Chainsmokers Costco tour”. Even renowned producer Valentino Khan gave a little nudge for Andrew and Alex to bring back some famous Costco croissants.

The Chainsmokers made a comment to the Twitter memes by responding “We just needed some extra income for the holidays so got a job a Costco working the tasting stand of this really good tequila
@drinkjaja”

Yoooo, the homies call me Marz. I am a multidimensional Piscean Latina fairy from Miami-Dade County (no, not Florida). Electronic music has allowed me to appreciate the profound beauty that can be found in finding peace within the chaos. Artists such as Rezz, Skrillex, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Amtrac blend the two seamlessly, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with me whenever I am on the dancefloor. When I am writing about electronic music, I feel this same balance of peace and chaos moving through me - starting in my hips, filling my heart, and radiating out from my soul. The power of music has brought me to this exact moment, and I only desire that you feel the warmth of the sun through my words.
