How Link Miami Rebels is Redefining The Dance Music Scene In Miami

All eyes are on the Miami electronic music scene and Link Miami Rebels is setting the example for all major American cities.

Miami stands for the true definition of the American dream: a successful and wealthy American city embodied by the diversity of European and Latin American culture. The world has eyes on Link Miami Rebels with their natural spirit to expand our dance community, and bring more art to Miami, all while prioritizing local Miami talent and spreading positivity.

Club Space

The Space Invaders of Link Miami Rebels is recognized as the premier underground music alternative to Miami’s electronic music scene since buying out the club in 2016. Across the city’s soundscape, Davide Danese, Coloma Kaboomsky, and David Sinopoli, the founder of III Points festival, are the innovative masterminds behind some of the most notable dance venues in Miami, Florida such as Club Space, Floyd, Factory Town, Space Park, and The Ground.

If you grew up in Miami around 2010-2015, you went to the mainstream shows at LIV or STORY, and you saw your favorite producers at Mansion, The Pickle, Mekka, Bardot, and Grand Central; that was just the way the cookie crumbled. There was an eerie, unhinged, yet high energy present in the crowd that was made up mostly of the local Miami population.

Club Space’s model sets a framework around inclusivity, safety, and freedom by implementing measures including strict security, platform dancing open to all genders, club and rave attire dress code, and no cigarette smoking. The combination of Miami’s vibrant Hispanic community with the creative framework, Link Miami Rebels has birthed what we know now as Hocus Pocus, III Joints, Space Park (R.I.P), Elrow, Miami Music Week, and Space Basel.

In David Sinopoli’s “Cafecito Talk” with the Mayor of Miami, he illustrates how he notices the dance music scene changing the most in Miami based on the more extensive international clientele at Club Space. Based on geographic data from the 2021 III Points ticket sale, every state in The United States, plus thirty countries purchased tickets for the two-day alternative electronic music festival.

Link Miami Rebels prioritize setting the stage in Miami for female, Hispanic, and artists of color pursuing their art in a male-dominated field by giving them opportunities to perform at Link Miami Rebels events and venues alongside renowned artists.

In episode three of “IIIPOINTS.TV”, Daniel Daze, a 3-O-5 homegrown legend shares how Miami has given a platform for locally based creatives to showcase their talents. RoujeeTunes, Phoenix, Zunjiiii, Ms. Mada, Layla Benitez, Daizy, Milushka, and Ashley Venom are setting an example to all Miami female creatives in following the music and dancing with their soul.

With Link Miami Rebel’s recent partnership with Insomniac Events, Club Space is reassured to remain “the cultural hub for the arts in Miami”, as said best by Coloma. This will ensure a relationship between the east and west coast electronic music scenes.

Yoooo, the homies call me Marz. I am a multidimensional Piscean Latina fairy from Miami-Dade County (no, not Florida). Electronic music has allowed me to appreciate the profound beauty that can be found in finding peace within the chaos. Artists such as Rezz, Skrillex, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Amtrac blend the two seamlessly, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with me whenever I am on the dancefloor. When I am writing about electronic music, I feel this same balance of peace and chaos moving through me - starting in my hips, filling my heart, and radiating out from my soul. The power of music has brought me to this exact moment, and I only desire that you feel the warmth of the sun through my words.
